Spending quality time with your child

My son is thoroughly enjoying his summer vacation. This is also our chance to get away. We were able to do just that in the last couple of weeks. Just random unplanned and quick trips. As busy as I still am despite the break, I try my best to make sure that I bond with him. This is one of the things that I have noticed that is most important in a child. Take that away from his routine and you’ll find a child with an empty love tank manifested in his being restless and rowdy.

It does not matter what kind of activities you share with your child. From reading stories, using that makeshift pulse oximeter for your pretend plays, play ball together. The truth of the matter is, a child is a human being in need of a relationship. Intentional parenting has this to take note of.
