If there is anything that we cannot miss from the time that our homeschooler was still an infant is his inclination to music. He hummed tunes way way before he learned how to talk straight. He has always been in tune from the first time he learned his notes. It is amazing really how he was able to take after his father’s musical genes to an even higher degree.
Now our hope is to nurture his love for music the best way we could. We tried giving him voice lessons and he loved it for a while.Now we are thinking of having him learn piano instead. Since he told us he would love to play the guitar, the first best step is to learn basic chords on piano. Hopefully, we will be able to follow through on this after his first program in Galileo for Singapore Math.
