Jed recites Psalm 100

This video was taken today. Jed used to recite Psalm chapter 100 before without the “and thens.” This was the very first chapter he memorized since we started homeschooling. Preschool with Ace and Christi, makes memory verse retention easier even as it introduces the verse to the child, one line at a time.  Every line also comes with action associated to the verse. He has several other verses memorized already and Psalm 100 was part of the review section for today’s class.

1Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

2Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

3Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

5For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
