It has been a couple months since we started with our Level 3 PACES and I just realized I still have not posted the subjects that our homeschooler has been working on since.
Aside from our son’s subjects from Level 1 and 2, Level 3 ushered in a brand new subject for him – Literature and Creative Writing, which in no time became another favorite. The other one being, Science.
Our 6 year old son’s Level 3 subjects are:
3. Social Studies
5. Word Building
6. Literature and Creative Writing
8. Araling Panlipunan
Our six year old little guy is now halfway through Level 2. We predicted last June that he was to finish Level 2 by September at the rate he was then going. But because there are more complex topics that he started learning in Math, we just let him work at his own pace. There is no rushing, anyway. He is only six years old. We value his learning more than how fast he will be able to pace through the curriculum.

My little homeschooler and I are towards homestretch now. A couple more paces of his 4 subjects: Math, Word Building, Animal Science and Bible Reading and he’s done with the ABCs with Ace and Christi Program of School of Tomorrow. I am thrilled how he has developed to be more than just a good reader but also has significantly improved his comprehension.
