Last week, my husband and I decided to place an order for the ABCs with Ace and Christi curriculum that we will be using for our son’s next homeschool program. We originally planned for it to resume simultaneously as those of the regular classes in the traditional schools. But as the teacher, I decided that we might as well head on early. Because this little guy is missing his homeschool classes already.
There were at least a couple of instance when he was really insistent that we “review class.” By this, he meant to go back to our previous lessons when he was still going through the Preschool with Ace and Christi program. I took that as a queue that he is ready. Now, it is not only this homeschooled boy who needs to get adjusted back to our homeschool routine. The teacher needs to do that as well.
And as if everything was all planned out, I got an email from my other boss, who I have been working for since homeschool vacation started, saying that he will be needing my services in the next couple of months. Which is just about the time that I need to get back to a routine and adjust. Otherwise, I might as well try out this supposedly best wrinkle cream that a friend has been raving about. The short hours of sleep I have everyday is surely taking its toll around my poor eyes. Puffiness and dark circles.
Moving on, the little guy and I are really looking forward to this next three months of ABCs with Ace and Christi and he will then jump on to first grade, possibly by September of this year. 🙂
