Our 7 year old homeschooler’s penmanship

I look at my son’s penmanship and I start to giggle. Only but very discreetly. I still have to play his supervisor every single homeschooling day. But I make sure he gets the praises that he deserves. Giggling though should not be all too obvious since the little guy might just think that it’s all play and not much of homeschooling business that we are doing. ๐Ÿ™‚

Our son’s penmanship is definitely notches higher than mine when I was his age. I have not even started with how good he is at spelling, looking at this particular test sheet. ย What I love about School of Tomorrow’s curriculum is that I practically did not lift a finger to get him to learn how to write. It might have helped that we were able to set our homeschooling atmosphere at home. The SOT curriculum is perfectly designed to progressively teach the child through mastery and overall plain carefully planned program. To date, we are one pace away for all subjects and we’re good to jump right up to Level 4. ๐Ÿ˜€

Every time our homeschooler concludes a level, we give him some kind of reward. We are thinking of getting him another bike and car bike racks this time. His first bike was practically destroyed by typhoon Ondoy in 2009. But he is also requesting this Mario Kart Gameplay 7 for his Nintendo DSi XL. I’m not even sure what that is. But we’ll consider that. I think he definitely deserves the reward.

  1. Hello there! May I have a sample page from your child’s Math PACE? Thanks so much for your blog about this homeschool curriculum.
