Level 1 PACEs

We really are doing this! I have a confession to make. I’m kinda sorta a little jittery even as we head on over to this milestone. We practically breezed through Preschool, sure. But Grade School is another story all together. But with the confidence that I now have with School of Tomorrow’s curriculum and with my experience as my son’s supervisor since 2009, I know I am more excited than jittery. ๐Ÿ™‚

My five year old son and I will officially start with Level 1 this coming week. The PACEs just came in yesterday. ย There will be a few things that we are going to incorporate to our routine other than the pledges that we do before we start with class. ย Like the Goal setting that my student/child has to do before we get started.

I was in the mall the other day looking out for a mattress sale for our new helper, when I thought this really is it. The new helper coming in is just so timely. I can focus on getting the hang of our “new drill” in this brand new Level. Mediocrity is something that I pray my son will not have to put up with as he learns his way through life. It is but so easy to fall into that when you are homeschooling and I’m making sure we’re steering clear of that. ๐Ÿ™‚

Good thing they have filipino paces now too!

  2. Nens!!! I didn’t know you used the ACE curriculum! Was it in grade school? ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, they now have Alpabetong Filipino. I opted to get that for Jed. Di siya marunong magbasa ng Tagalog. Umiikot ang dila. ๐Ÿ™‚
