Today’s Vocabulary Drill

Here are a few words that my son learned today:

Cottage means a small, country home

Kinfolk is a a family group like aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives

Kangaroo pouch is a pocket made of skin

Private is something you do not share with anyone

Kidding means to teasing

Kindled mean to set on fire

Kabobs  are little chunks of food lined up on a long, skinny fork

Joeys are baby kangaroos

Bib is an article of clothing worn under the chin to protect a baby’s clothes when he eats

The sole of a shoe is the bottom part
